Global Voices Film Festival - Boston - USA October 8th to 11th 2009
This October, the United Nations Association of Greater Boston (UNA-GB) and the Harvard Kennedy School New England Alumni Association will present the 8th annual Global Voices Film Festival, featuring the documentary films of talented moviemakers from around the world. These films deal with timely subjects ranging from the plight of migrant farmworkers in the US to the interpretation of Islam in Syria, and from the complexities of water use in developed countries to the role of widows in India — subjects meant to engage dialogue on issues that matter to all of us as humans. This year’s Festival will be held October 8-11, 2009. Read more

Over two hundred people turned up for the Peace and Creativity Salon at the United Nations University on Friday, 26 September. We set up a screen and video projector in the UNU courtyard, and Global Lives built their installation at the front of the campus. Read more
