Didn't think I'd be seeing Bangkok again so soon after Tim's and my Christmas holiday there last year but then again I didn't think I would be travelling the world with my husband making a documentary either!

We were supposed to have a restful 24 hours in Bangkok before all the madness of a month in Africa but unfortunately due to major problems getting a Nigerian visa, we spent the day at the Embassy making contingency plans if all goes pear-shaped.

We have now also discovered that there is a massive delay to our Kenyan fight!  Instead of leaving at 11:00pm tonight we will now be flying at 4:30am tomorrow, so they have put us up at the Novotel.

Not an ideal start to the trip but we will ‘go with the flow' and hope for the best.  See you in Kenya!
